Below is a brief snapshot of our some of our remits to-date.
Rewinding back 30 years to 1993-1999
The CEO & Founder of Enterprise CRM Solutions, Benjamin Horin finalises his studies at Wesley College after prior schooling at Guildford Grammar and Geelong Grammar School. Despite having a passion for the arts and drama courtesy of first rate educational institutions like Guildford Grammar, which Benjamin attended with the likes of Heath Ledger, Benjamin finishes his studies at Wesley College and finds a new passion in Computing and subsequently achieves an academic award for Computing Studies.
Being a descendant of the enterpreneurial Horin, Ryzman and Smorgon family, Benjamin weighs up his obvious options to study accountancy or a business, but decides his passion is computing.
Spurred by the academic award, decides to enrol in a course at Swinburne University of TAFE. Quickly receives job offers even before completing his studies at Swinburne University of TAFE and is asked by a lecturer of Swinburne University to use his research into Object Orientated Databases to be cited in the lecturer's PhD.
He later gets offered a 'Hot Shot' programming position working at GUI Computing working with some excellent mentors in RAD (Rapid Application Development) using Visual BASIC, MS Access and SQL Server. There he finds his love of commercial-grade coding building software to map out hundreds of Golf Courses across of Australia
(incredibly relevant now) and more complex software to help manage Thoroughbred Horses enabling him to further hone his front-end (MS Access & VB) and SQL development skills.
He later gets offered a job at Coles Head Office at 800 Toorak Road, Tooronga, VIC and continues his career helping build the 1st prototype of Coles Online and Coles POS using VB & SQL.
During a Microsoft conference in Melbourne he gets a chance opportunity to pitch questions and briefly meet Bill Gates, CEO and Founder of Microsoft, which was very inspiring.
25+ years on Coles Online and the touch-screen POS are now some of the most widely used systems used by millions of Australians daily across 800+ supermarkets.
Moving to 1999
Benjamin Horin builds a prototype of a meta search engine and a permutational engine to help improve search engine technology and flies to Silicon Valley, USA. The technology works seamlessly with Yahoo!, Excite, Google, etc and gets adopted by search engine elite.
In San Francisco, CA he gets to meet the founders of Google, Excite, Yahoo!, etc who are all his age and all with the similar passion and end-goal of improving search!
Metamorphism and diversification - 2000 to 2017
Benjamin Horin realizes that IT is a broad area and decides to try and challenge himself by building IT systems for a few industry sectors, eg Banking / Finance and Utilities.
Assisting a few industries with data solutions quickly grows to assisting over 38 x industries (Health, Medical, Aged Care, Banking/ Finance, Legal Services, FinTech, Utilities, Engineering, Local Government, Federal Government, Mining Services, Fortune 500, etc).
Seeing that many organisations are running complex IT projects requiring an understanding of both IT and law, Benjamin Horin, CEO enrols in a complex UK law course.
The catalyst was a client in 2011 needed us to understand how complex tariffs worked (very relevant in 2025), which required an understanding of IT systems and how to read legislation too, so Benjamin enrols in a complex London-based UK law course to help gain a better understanding of the law, how to read legislation and build software solutions from it.
2018 - Sanctuary Cove, Queensland
During a chance meeting at Sanctuary Cove in Queensland at a coffee shop, Benjamin strikes up a conversation with a gentleman by the name of Nicholas Harris who commented on an Australian Financial Review article he had been reading. Seeming fairly educated, Benjamin Horin and Nicholas Harris start the first of hundreds of in-depth conversations about Commerce and law. Benjamin Horin later realises Nicholas Harris, Master of Laws (University of Sydney), Master of Laws (America University), PhD (Economics) is a lawyer and a seasoned one at that having worked for Rupert Murdoch and other media titans. Nicholas Harris becomes legal counsel of Enterprise CRM Solutions and fends off a series of vexatious claims.
Fast forward to 2025! US Federal Election - Trump wins! Tariff mania!
In 2025, this nearly 14 years of research (2011 to 2025) is starting to pay off, thanks to Donald J. Trump, the Republicans and his over 9000+ US tariffs imposed on everything ranging from importing / exporting of textiles, horse hair, cheeses, wine, automobiles and anything else you care to mention!
